Noticing the World Around Us
Last week was Beltane, the midway point between spring equinox and summer solstice. Summer is coming. We can observe as life springs up everywhere around us, watch as the roses bloom and spread their petals on the ground. The natural rhythms continue. We can let the earth support us, noticing our place in this order.
There are many ideas circulating about what we can do with this time while sheltering in place. It looks different to everyone.
One thing we all do share is this earth. Its forces are with us whether we can see them or not. Witnessing the earth and revering its power can be a transformational practice. This is something we can embody in how we meditate, how we garden, how we eat, and in every aspect of our lives. It is us!
